Kathy Kroll (Modern Dance) was a dancer and choreographer in New York City for 20 years; performing and teaching nationally and internationally. Her award-winning choreography was performed in countless venues, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art steps, and the World Trade Center Plaza. Kroll moved to Stroudsburg in 1994 and founded a community based company, the Dance and Paper Theatre. Most of Kroll's productions combine multiple art forms, including gigantic origami, for which she has received many Pa Partners in the Arts grants. In 2010 the state of Pennsylvania presented her with a certificate recognizing her contributions to the community in the arts.

Paula Heeschen (Ballet) has studied ballet for many years as a child with Anita Lee Blair and as an adult with Notara School of Dance, New York City Ballet Coach Beth Kurtz and Donna Colter.  She currently studies ballet with Diane Verdi. She has also studied modern dance with Kathy Kroll and performs with Kroll's Dance and Paper Theater.

Olga McGuire (Argentine Tango) studied with tango masters in Argentina and New York. She teaches Argentine Tango at Nash Dancenter in New Jersey as well. She assists Dragon Ranitovich in workshops in NJ, NY and PA. McGuire and Rantiovich give monthly workshops at SVPA.

Robert Joyner (Kyokushin Karate) is a master of Kyokushin Karate, with 40 years of experience in the martial arts. He has competed nationally and internationally in full contact karate and is considered an expert fighter. He has been teaching karate and kobuko in the Poconos for 23 years.

Jazmin Ospa (Theater, Stagecraft & Puppets) has a B.A. in Technical Theater with a concentration in Costumes from East Stroudsburg University, and participated with Stage II and University Contemporary Dancers clubs. She has participated in productions with Allentown Civic Theater and Little Theater of Wilkes-Barre, dance groups (Kathy Kroll Dance & Paper Theater, Northeast Ballet Ensemble) and Macy's Costume Operations. She has taught Theater, Stagecraft and Puppetry at SVPA since 2010. An avid cosplayer and has won a Judge's Award during Otakon's 2006 Masquerade.

Diane Verdi (Ballet) has danced as a soloist with the Garden State Ballet and Morse Donaldson Modern Dance Company. She taught dance at Fairleigh Dickenson and Ryder Colleges. Diane has produced, directed and choreographed the Nutcracker ballet for the last 7 years and she has taught all ages from preschool through adult.

Eileen Walden (Ballroom, Latin Swing, Hustle) has taught at Independent and Franchise Ballroom studios on Long Island, NY. Many of her students became award winning competitors bringing Eileen recognition with Top Teacher Awards. Her talent as an instructor was noticed by many as shown by her extensive resume which includes teaching at Hofstra and Wilkes Universities. In 1997, Eileen set out on her own offering Private, Semi-Private, Group, Youth and Teen lessons.

Shellie Bransford (Theater & Voice) has been an educator, performer, and program developer since 1983. She has worked with opera companies nationally and internationally, including with the Metropolitan Opera education program in NYC public schools. She has performed in and directed many local musical productions.
